Mason to the rescue

Mason donned all his super "heiro" (as he calls it) attire and added a few extra accessories to play yesterday! Daddy took him for a ride on the iron horse Aka the dirt bike and they pretended to save the world. It was so cute and quite comical!

This is my favorite because he insisted on wearing his safety glasses to keep dirt out of his eyes and the helmet so he didn't bump his head!

This kid has one vivid imagination! So thankful that his daddy likes to play along with his crazy games!! Love them to pieces!!

Mason's Spiderman Party!!

Sunday we hosted a family party at our house for Mason's 3rd birthday.  He insisted on having Spiderman as the theme.  Lucky for me Spiderman party supplies was in abundunce at our local Wal-Mart!  We had to make sure he knew that this was his final party until next year.  He already had like 3 cakes so it might have been a little confusing.  All of the family came over and we had a great time visiting and watching Mason open presents. Special thanks go out to my mom and sister, Shana for helping me throw this party together!! Here are some pictures from the party.

Happy 9 months to Maddie!

My sweet baby girl is 9 months old today! It has been quite a busy month for her. Here is what she has been up to...

She is wearing size 3 diapers and 6-9 months clothes.
She is eating 5-6 ounces every 4-5 hours and 3 meals of baby food a day. She has started to eat some table foods as well. She always wants whatever I'm eating, sometimes snatching it right out of my hand!
Maddie officially began crawling this month! In just a weeks time she is getting fast!

She has also started teething! I can see a little bud on her bottom gum. I'm sure it will be breaking through soon.
Maddie still wakes up in the night but my new goal, since we are back from vacation, is to have here sleeping in her crib through the night. I'm going to need lots of prayer for that one.
Maddie can say momma clear as day. She has also started to say yaya. I think she is trying to say dada!

She can also clap her hands now. If you sing patty cake she claps. It is the cutest thing ever!
Maddie's little personality is definitely starting to develop. She can be quite the diva. She loves to be held by me!
This picture pretty much says it all!

It warms my heart to know that she wants me, but also gets tiring when she doesn't want to go to anyone else. She is getting better about going to others though. I'm thinking it's just a phase.
Now that Maddie is crawling she can try and keep up with her big brother. Mason is still a little rough with her, Maddie is going to be able to hold her own pretty soon! I hope they always get along like this :)

Overall Maddie is such an easy baby! She is wonderful when we take her out and did awesome on our road trip to Disney! Everyday I fall more in love with her. She is such a joy and I can't wait to see what next month holds for her!!

Mason turned 3!!

Yesterday we celebrated Mason's 3rd birthday. Since we are traveling home from Florida we couldn't do a whole lot. I did send Mark after a cake the night before and this is what he brought back...

Luckily Mason didn't care, he just wanted cake!

And what is a birthday without presents.

It was just a little something. He gets the rest next weekend at his party!

The past 3 years have gone by so fast. Mason is seriously the smartest 3 year old I know. He continuously suprises us with the things he comes up with. He has turned into such a daddy's boy but still likes to cuddle with me. I cherish the cuddle time so much because I know the older he gets the less he'll want to(which that's how it should be.). Not a day goes by that he doesn't have us rolling on the floor laughing with something he has said. He is also very good at testing the limits. You draw a line in the sand and his little toes is going to barely touch it! Mason is such a joy and light in our lives, and I can't imagine our lives without him!!!

Return to Magic Kingdom

Today we went back to Magic Kingdom and had a blast. This is by far my favorite park. The park was not crowded at all and we walked on almost every ride today. It was so nice.
Mason met Pinnochio when we first got there.

Here we are in front of the castle.

Trying to pull the sword out of the stone.

Mason and Mark dancing with one of the bears from the Country Bear Jamboree.

Mom and Mason on the jungle cruise.

Mason's eye patch and pirate sword. He was so excited to get this.

For dinner we attended Mickey's Backyard BBQ. We celebrated Mason's birthday a few days early.

At the BBQ all the characters came out to dance.

Animal Kingdom

Yesterday we went to Animal Kingdom. We saw the Lion King show which was really cool. We also got to ride most of the rides. Mom found some binoculars for Mason and he took them on the safari. Every time we would see an animal he would hurry up and hold the binoculars up. It was funny.

After returning from the park and resting we decided to just hang around the campground for the evening. The resort hosts a marshmallow roast and a sing a long every night. Here is Mason enjoying his smore.

We then headed down to the boat dock to watch fireworks.

It was nice to hang around the camp ground. We definitely needed to rest!

Disney Day 3

Yesterday we ventured over to Epcot. My mom and I took the kids because Mark was not feeling well.
Here is mom and Maddie waiting for our bus. (mom was on the phone with grandma. Hi grandma, we love you and miss you!!)

At Epcot we had to work a little harder to keep Mason entertained because there was not a lot for toddlers.
Here is Mason and mom making music. When you stood on a lighted square it made a certain sound.

Mason decided to make his own fun while we were in a gift shop. I seriously turned my head for two seconds then turned back and he had found all of this....

In the world showcase he got to color a bear then get it stamped by each country we visited.

Here is how Maddie spends most of here time here.

We learned today that Maddie is getting her first tooth. This explains a week of upset tummy and general crankiness.
The only character we met today was Snow White.

For dinner we celebrated Bri's birthday by going to a Luau at the Polynesian Hotel. It was so fun and the food was awesome.

My favorite part was the guy who was twirling fire.

Actually my favorite part was when they called all the September birthday people on stage to Hula. Bri and Mason were center stage trying to hula. It was so cute. The rest of the night Mason kept asking if he could go back on stage and dance. It was funny!!
