Christmas 2013

This was a very special year because Mark was off for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! That never happens!! So we enjoyed every second.

Santa brought the kids some new bikes, and they were so excited once they realized that the gifts Santa brought were on the rug and not under the tree.

And lots of other goodies.

Maddie is a very meticulous gift opener. Every piece of wrapping paper must be off before she will acknowledge what the gift is. It was quite entertaining to watch her this year.

Momma got a special gift too!! Daddy did good this year!!

Maddie turns 3

Maddie changed her mind probably 10 times on what kind of birthday party she wanted but finally settled on the Little Mermaid.

She was so excited about the decorations!

We gave her a pink scooter.

Here she is on her actual birthday. Holding up 3 fingers!

Sassy little thing!

We did get to see daddy on her actual birthday thanks to the fire dept Christmas party!

Holiday Fun

The holidays are always so busy for us but we always try to make it fun. We put up the tree before Thanksgiving this year just because, and I really loved having it up!

Zuzu bought the kids little trees for their rooms and they are so proud of them.

Of course Maddie's had to be pink!

We decorated gingerbread houses with daddy's help.

We kept our annual tradition on eating at Benihana's then photo with Santa.

This is definitely the best one yet!

Erin and Jac met us for some fun.

Another tradition we have is to make and decorate cookies.

October 2013

October we went to the Fair. It turned out to be a disaster because it was hot and the whole time the kids kept asking when we were going to ride the rides. But in between all the gripes we managed to get a few smiles.

Finally a ride!!

We also had our annual family Halloween Party.

Cinderella, pirate and Ben 10

Grandma and Pawpaw were ninja turtles and Cody was Casey Jones.

Flapper, pirate and army soldier

Miss Reagan also made her debut in October. The kids adore her.

We enjoyed another Halloween party at grannies house.

Mason was a ninja this time.

Aunt D told him the secret to bobbing apples.

Daddy was able to go trick or treating with us on Halloween. We love it when he gets to go with us places!!

Mason turns 5

In September Mason turned 5!! It's hard to believe he's that old, time seriously needs to slowness down.

We had a little celebration on his actual birthday at home.

For his big party he wanted a baseball theme.

Catch up post

So this post is long overdue but its a new year and my phones memory is full so now is a perfect chance to catch up on last years happenings. So hear ya go...

Mark started his new job back in June and we are so thrilled. This was the first time he let us come see him.

Mason got to take home Max the bear from school. He had to go go everywhere we went. We tried to show him a good time.

I don't even know what this picture is about but it makes me laugh every time. She's such a character!

We finally bought the kids a swing set. Some assembly required. Haha

12 hours later...

Took the kids to Six flags

Mason was finally tall enough to ride the big mine train.

Maddie and I on the batwing.
