San Antonio Trip

We took a mini vacation with Nini and Pop Pop to San Antonio. We had such a good time!
The first day we got there around dinner and went to eat at Saltgrass to celebrate daddy's birthday! After dinner we took a boat ride that Mason loved!









Day two we went to Fiesta Texas.
They had a ton of kiddie rides and the kids had a blast. Maddie wanted to ride everything but she couldn't because she is so small.

Day three we did a little shopping in the morning then decided to try and find an indoor jump place for the kids. Well one detour and 30 miles later we finally found one.






Maddie loved this Dino ride so much. She got so upset when we came back to it and someone else was on it. As soon as they got off she ran to it and said mine.


After the jump place we ventured back towards the hotel stopping at the Alamo for a quick pic.


We promised Mason a toy so this is what he picked out...



He loves his new ironman costume!
Maddie wanted to try it on too!


It felt so good to get away and we all had so much fun!

Family Fun Night

Saturday night we headed out to Waco for a good dinner and to just hang out.
We enjoyed a yummy dinner at Red Lobster!






After dinner we made a quick stop at Academy then made a surprise visit to Chuck E Cheese.
We had a late start on our evening so by the time we got there is was 9pm. We don't really care for the pizza too much so we just got 10 bucks worth of tokens and the kids went to town. Both of the kids were in great moods and behaving so well. We had the best time together!

Side note: The best time to go to Chuck E Cheese is an hour before they close! There was hardly anyone there!

Mason's first friend sleepover

Friday Mason had his first friend sleep over. This was totally spur of the moment and I had no time to prepare so we just winged it all night.
Mason and Curtis played a few games and played with play-do.



Maddie loves Curtis and I'm pretty certain the feeling is mutual.



I was most worried about them not sleeping, but they went to bed about 10:15 and were up by 7. The next morning they played and then we went swimming for a little bit. The boys had a great time, but the sleepover wore this momma smooth out!

Seriously missing my little man...

On Saturday I dropped Mason off at Zuzu Camp. She has all kinds of fun things planned for them like museums, parks and all sorts of adventures. Mason has been so excited because he gets to stay for 4 nights! It is day 2 and I miss him so much!!
Zuzu let Maddie and I tag along for the first adventure at the CR Smith museum. She had matching shirts for them and hats to go along with the Urban Safari theme. I am so thankful for my mom. She loves making life an adventure and has instilled that in me and now my kids get to experience it!!

This was a 15 min movie about American airlines and about 10 minutes in, Mason leaned over and said "I sure would like some popcorn!" Ha never a dull moment with that kid!!




Uncle Rusty and Aunt Shana took Mason and Mikayla on Sunday to the Dallas Aquarium and Gattitown.




He is loving every minute of this, but I sure do miss him!! We all do, even Maddie. She woke up this morning calling for Bubba. I guess we will just have to spoil her while Mason is away.

Sibling Love

I have no doubts that these two love each other. It makes my heart so happy to see them being sweet to each other.
